Shaykh Usman Safder
Personal Information:
Shaykh Usman Safder was born in 1984 at Gulshan Hadeed, Karachi.
Education:
He received his early education in his hometown after which he did Hifz of The Holy Quran at Masjid Taweed.
In 1999, he acquired admission at Madrasah Almahad-us-Salafi Littaleem Wattarbiyah located at Teen Hatti and also completed his Dars-e-Nizami Course and benefitted from Shaykh Abdullah Nasir Rehmani.
Along with his religious education, he also obtained Bachelor of Associate Degree in Arts from University of Karachi. Later, he was selected for Kulyatul Hadith at Islamic University of Madinah, Saudi Arabia and came back to Pakistan after the completion of the same course.
Educational and Religious Positions:
He is currently the head of following institutes:
• Al-Madinah Islamic Research Center
• Al-Hijra Open University
• Nibras Institute
Foundation of Al-Hijra Open University:
After coming back to Pakistan, he realized the need of such an institution which can provide the services of Da’wah through digital means and modern techniques. To accomplish this mission, he took advice from Shaykh Abdullah Nasir Rehmani and with the help of his companions founded Al-Hijra Open University under the supervision of Shaykh Abdullah Nasir Rehmani.
Teaching and Religious Services:
After completing his education from Islamic University of Madinah, he is providing his services as a teacher at Al-Bayaan Institute, a subsidiary institute of Al-Madinah Islamic Research Center. Apart from that, he is delivering the same services at Al-Hijra Open University. Moreover, he is also giving Fahm ul Qur’an classes at Masjid Khalid Bin Waleed, Gulshan-e-Hadeed.
He has conducted public talks, lectures and workshops at Role Model Institute and Burooj Institute. He also receives invitations from private institutes and universities for delivering public talks, workshops, seminars and lectures. All of his recorded lectures are available on YouTube and Facebook.
