Journeying through Islamic Knowledge: Embrace Wisdom with Dars-e-Nizami Studies

Unlocking the Importance of Islamic Knowledge: Delve into the teachings of the Quran with a profound image showcasing its sacred verses, symbolizing the significance of Islamic wisdom.

Ilm (Islamic Knowledge) is a way for humans to lead them in all aspects of life. By it, we know our God and worship him, the rights of the creator and creation will be known, halal and forbidden, right and wrong, useful and useless, good and evil will be able to be discriminated. That is why Imam Ahmed accurately said:

الناس الي العلم أحوج منهم الي الطعام والشراب لأن الرجل يحتاج الطعام فى اليوم مرة أو مرتين، وحاجته الي العلم بعدد أنفاسه

“People need knowledge more than they need food and water, because a person needs food once or twice a day, while their need for knowledge is as constant as their breaths.”

Why does Allah send messengers?
Allah sent messengers to spread his message which was none but knowledge. Allah Almighty said in the Quran:

هُوَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَ رَسُولَهُ بِالْهُدَى وَدِيْنِ الْحَقِّ

“It is He who has sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth.”

First Revelation:

The Foundation of Islam is indeed based on knowledge. The first Revelation was all about knowledge because we cannot perform deeds without it. Also, it motivates us to get knowledge.

اِقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ

“Recite in the name of your Lord who created.”

Ibn e Khatir said in the exegesis of this ayah:

“This is the first blessing of Allah which he blesses on mankind.” which is none but Ilm (Islamic Knowledge).

Exploring Islamic Knowledge: A Dedicated Student Immersed in Learning

طلبُ العلمِ فريضةٌ على كلِّ مسلمٍ ، وإِنَّ طالبَ العلمِ يستغفِرُ له كلُّ شيءٍ ، حتى الحيتانِ في البحرِ

“Seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim, and Everything will seek forgiveness for the seeker of knowledge, even the fish in the sea.”

By this hadith, we get the importance of the knowledge that basic knowledge is obligatory for every Muslim. The person who seeks further knowledge is better than the first one because the seeker of knowledge is on the path of seeking light and knowledge that illuminates the way for people, teaches them the duties of their religion, and guides them to the path of Allah.

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) also said in another Hadith:

“Indeed, Allah, His angels, and the inhabitants of the heavens and the earth, even the ant in its hole, and even the whale; pray for the teacher of good to the people.”

This is a statement from the Prophet (peace be upon him) about the value of scholars.
